Attorney Abreu is admitted to practice in the Massachusetts Courts, United States District Court - District of Massachusetts, and the United States Court of Appeals - First Circuit.

Before entering private practice, Attorney Abreu served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Bristol County District Attorney's Office.  As a Prosecutor, Attorney Abreu obtained a vast amount of criminal litigation experience, serving as lead counsel on over a hundred trials.  Upon departure from the District Attorney's Office, he was recognized for his dedicated service by former District Attorney Paul Walsh and the Massachusetts State Police.

Prior to starting his own practice, Attorney Abreu was also an associate with the Law Offices of G.M. Rego P.C., where he specialized in personal injury, worker's compensation, and employment discrimination claims for six years.  He resolved hundreds of claims by way of settlement, mediation, and/or arbitration.  Although he was forced to file a law suit for some claims, all were resolved prior to trial.

Attorney Abreu received an undergraduate degree in Justice Studies from Rhode Island College, and later his law degree from Southern New England School of Law.  While in Law School Attorney Abreu was awarded a Dean's Fellowship, was appointed as a legal tutor, and represented the school at the National Moot Court Competition.

Prior to his work with the District Attorney's Office, Attorney Abreu, while in College and Law School, was appointed as a Reserve Police Officer with the Swansea Police Department.  While a Swansea Police Officer, Attorney Abreu attended an Academy sponsored by the Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Counsel where he was trained in accident reconstruction, firearms, radar, lidar, etc.
